Wacky Wednesday

Today was a pretty regular day. Woke up, got myself off to work, DH took Lo. No morning meeting, yay, I love that. Morning meetings are a waste of time. Then straight to work. There were no emergencies, everything ran smooth, altogether uneventful. I did my weekly report and then had to sit for two and a half hours in the environmental meeting. Kind of a waste of time but necessary evil. Then back to my office for a little bit. DH talked to pool people - 45K. hmmm. financing may be a problem. We'll see. Then we walked about 1.25 miles. Then to my favorite CFA and then home. There are 6 thens in this post. Bed for Lolo and us..niteynite.

Totally Tuesday

Well, if I don't start writing daily, I'll never write. Today was ok. We had a customer come to visit at work, they found two chemicals out of date. Great. So have to deal with that even though I could care less right now. The boss decides to be a smartass about it too. And yet another affirmation of a good decision. I am trying to catch everything up so that the next person can just get in there and start without fixing all the things I haven't completed yet. Then the ac is still out and it got pretty hot at work today. Then a couple of other irritations at work. Off for home where the DH was cooking beans in the crockpot. No walking today, but we ate at home after a little tiny, maybe not too tiny argument over breaking Lo's new toy out of its packaging. Packaging with screws, what is that? Silly silly. I unscrewed the screws successfully and then finished his Little Jack Horner diarama. I will get around to posting a picture about next week or so. I need to work on my resume, my application for NISD and what I will wear to the Job Fair this weekend. I looked on the NISD site and there were some science teacher jobs - 2 for middle school and 1 for high school, but that was sort of a combined-with-coach job. But anyway that gives me hope. Then DH and I looked and measured the back yard and then went online to look at pools. Gotta keep up with the Zinck's!

I need to walk tomorrow.

Oh man, is this the cutest thing ever?

Oh man, I'm tired. Too much to do all the time. Tonight I ate dinner with Christie - we probably will not see too much of each other. Logan was so good and so was Ricky. YAY! Gotta love good family.

Nick - ggrrrrrrrrrrr - did the old "My stomach huuuuuuuuurrrrts" routine. I left him at home this morning, he got another chance to go to school with Ricky (and not get in so much trouble, because there he was about to initialize the new game he just got) and didn't take it. I think he probably made it to school around noon - Chay took him after she got into town from her haircut. I hope he doesn't make a habit of this sort of thing. I am still upset with him. Needless to say the tv and XBOX come out. I wish he was better at self-regulation, but he just can't handle it.
